Job description

Located in Gironde, near the prestigious Saint-Émilion vineyards, Dubourg Automobiles is a family business founded in 1960 by François Dubourg. Specializing in the sale of used auto parts from recycled vehicles, the company has continued to evolve and structure itself around its founding values: quality, service, and sustainable development.

Today, headed by Dominique Dubourg, accompanied by his sister Patricia and his two sons, Jean-Baptiste and Andréa, the company continues to grow within the Dubourg Group, made up of five complementary entities:

  • Dubourg Automobiles : specialized in automotive recycling (in Rauzan, 33420)
  • BTVA : specialized in automotive recycling (in Petit-Palais-et-Cornemps, 33570)
  • Dubourg Logistic : specialized in the transport of damaged and used vehicles
  • Dubourg Assembly and Services : specialized in the assembly of automotive parts and vehicle maintenance
  • DA Racing : specialized in the operation of competition vehicles

The Dubourg Automobiles group operates across the large southwest quarter of France, but also abroad: Spain, Portugal, Africa, the Middle East and Eastern Europe.

 

Your mission:

As a SPL driver, you play a vital role in the smooth running of our logistics. You will primarily be involved in towing vehicles in and around Bordeaux.
Occasionally, you may be required to carry out vehicle transfers at gate 9.

 

On a daily basis you:

  • Prepare your truck before departure, cleaning, washing, various checks (condition of the truck, presence of truck documents: registration document, insurance certificate, capacity certificate, axle tax, etc.)
  • Drive in accordance with the highway code and regulations
  • Monitor truck maintenance (oil change, lubrication, periodic checks: tachograph, mine inspection, etc.)
  • Load the truck according to the instructions
  • Secure your load (strapping, wedging, securing vehicle parts that could come loose, etc.)
  • Check the loading height
  • Handle the load carefully
  • Write the descriptive condition before loading in the presence of the depositor or owner and take photos of the vehicles
  • Check repair/caretaking invoices before payment
  • Follow safety rules

Who are you ?

Are you independent, rigorous, and have a strong customer service ethic? Do you have a good presentation and enjoy working in a team? This position is for you!

  • You have a CE license and your FIMO / FCO is up to date
  • Experience in SPL driving is desirable
  • CACES 3 is a plus
